We all love our dogs, don’t we? We also love our cars but during wet months it is often a bad idea to mix the two. For me unfortunately that isn’t possible. You see my Golden Labrador demands a long walk at least once a day and for both of us the best solution is to go to the park or some wooded area and let him run free.
In summer there is very little problem with this but in winter there is a huge problem. You see my car doesn’t have a hatch back so Ginger has to go in the back seat. As you can imagine wet muddy paw prints and muddy dog shapes isn’t the best way to look after your car so we decided to buy a dog hammock.
Now at first we just used to hang a double sheet, large blanket and anything else we could think of over the back seat but found that by the end of the short journey home Ginger had turned it up anyway and was on the velour of the car seat. Looking for ideas on the internet we came across these dog hammocks, which at first i thought were just dog beds.
